I was a busy entrepreneur – accomplished, yet burned-out and hopelessly stuck. Now, 10 years into a complete life shift where balance, fulfillment, and personal growth are priorities, I support heart-centered people on their healing journey to break the stress cycle, reconnect with themselves, and transform their life with purpose and clarity.
My Credentials
Certified as a Usui-Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher, I’m the originator of ‘Cedar Reiki’, a new Reiki energy lineage. I am also trained in the ancient Mystery School techniques as a graduate of Psychic Mastery 1, 2, & 3 an esteemed professional psychic development program led by renowned Psychic Healers, Nancy Rebecca and Yvonne Kilcup at Intuitive Mind. My work as a Craniosacral Therapist, continues to evolve through on-going training with Kari Toft at Visionary Craniosacral Healing. On occasion, I offer Reiki classes, and have received the additional instruction and attunement from the International Center for Reiki Training to provide online Reiki training when appropriate. I am also a Certified Chakra Balancing and Healing Practitioner. My post secondary education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Alberta (now renamed the Faculty of Kinesiology) as well as Advanced Certification in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University.

“Hello! My name is Leigh Blackburn and I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Energy Healer, Psychic Intuitive, Craniosacral Practitioner, empath, and old soul. Alongside my healing practice, I identify as an athlete, animal lover, designer, and adventurer. I recently relocated to Vancouver Island (from Fernie) and have made Cumberland, BC my new home. I am honored to live, learn, heal, and practice within the traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, the First People and traditional keepers of this sacred and unceded ‘land of plenty’.
The medicine of nature calms, balances, and motivates me. I share a strong healing bond with the protective energy and wisdom of old growth Cedar forests as well as the fairy Spirits who live there. While meditating within an ancient grove of 800-year-old cedars in Fernie, BC I was gifted a new energy - ‘Cedar Reiki’. I continue to learn from, develop, and integrate ‘Cedar Reiki’ into both my sessions and classes.
Through the years of focused personal healing, I continue to gain a greater awareness and acceptance of my own depth and duality. There is no final destination for those who have chosen a healer’s path, and so as my clients grow on their journeys, so too, do I. I am grateful for your lessons.
The tactile connection of in-person Reiki healing or Craniosacral therapy can do wonders for promoting calm, while the magical nature of Intuitive Readings, or ethereal experience of distance (remote) Reiki or distance Craniosacral Therapy are amazingly powerful. How My Healer’s Journey Began
In what felt like an instant a switch had been flipped and I was suddenly hurtling towards a purpose-filled life I had long been searching for – that of a healer. It has been said that when you find your true path all the dots will effortlessly connect.
Five years prior I found myself perpetually stressed, exhausted, unhappy, and becoming ill both mentally and physically. The many demands of my career as a Registered Interior Designer and Entrepreneur had taken its toll. With the support of my husband I made the decision to leave a business I had worked so hard to create and opened the door to my unknown future.
I began what would become a daily ritual of hiking or mountain biking with my dog Finn. Each day Finn would lead me through the forest while reminding me to appreciate the beauty, the peace, or the stillness we found there together. Through these moments I discovered the ancient wisdom of the trees, the elements, and the animals. After years of emersion in this ‘Nature School’ I found deeper learning about love, patience, acceptance and surrender.
It was my Birthday when Reiki found me.
My first session was with Christina Wooten in Sedona, Arizona; in the blink of an eye, everything changed - layers of held trauma began to peel away. Within days of returning home to Kelowna, I met my Reiki Teacher, Candy Widdifield. With her guidance I leaned into what seemed like my instinctive ability - integrating the energy and applying the lessons. In just months I had realized my spiritual purpose as a Lightworker, a Reiki Practitioner, and now, some time later, a Reiki Master Teacher, Psychic Intuitive, and Craniosacral Therapist, based in Cumberland, BC. But my journey hasn’t ended; I am always learning and evolving.
Through my journey of constant healing I have come to believe with absolute certainty that the universe is truly on your side. Your Higher Self, Guides, Ancestors, and helping Spirits unite with you in manifesting your greatest good. They want what your heart wants: to find success in the mission you came here to achieve. But it’s up to you to make a choice – are you ready to break the stress cycle, reconnect with yourself, and transform your life into one with more purpose and clarity?
