May 2024 Energy Insights
Hello! It’s May, so today I’d like to offer supportive energy insights for the month! If you prefer to watch a video, go to my Instagram page.
For anyone new just stumbling on this post, I’m Leigh from Ancient Cedars Reiki & Wellness. I support mindful people like you on your journey of personal discovery and growth working with holistic energy healing modalities such as Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, and Energy Insight readings. In April, you saw me work with tarot & oracle cards to gather info. Interestingly though, I typically don’t work with divination tools in my sessions, rather, I read the energies through symbology. So, to better reflect my own gifts, this month, I will be presenting the expected frequencies in this way. To reflect back on April’s forecast - click here.
MONEY
As I began to connect in with May, immediately quotes and songs relating to “money, money, money, mon-neey….” came through. I also heard “money doesn’t grow on trees” and “money doesn’t buy happiness”, which leads me to expect we will be clearing attachments, blocks, or unhealthy relationships to money. Spirit reminded me that this could be other forms of currency or simply in regards to various forms of abundance! Overall, it feels like we are learning how to work with money in ways that, yes, benefit us as individuals, but that will ultimately lead us in the direction of collective benefit.
PREPARATIONS FOR THE FUTURE
I asked Spirit for 3 symbols representing the main frequencies we will be working with as a collective through May. I am shown one main symbol that houses three distinct areas for growth. This main symbol is a beautiful bird’s nest, meticulously crafted with love, care, and intention – no twig out of place. Within the nest there are 3 coloured eggs: blue, pink and green. In this symbol, the nest represents the importance of the work we did last month, and the eggs relate to our awaiting potential this May. The essence that surrounds this symbol is very feminine in nature. One of tending to the safe and nurturing space we’ve already built for ourselves in April (recall – the 1 of cups and the heart opening) so our potential, our gifts can hatch, grow, and eventually, take flight. This is BIG work, personal inner shifts with the power to support future generations of ALL life on Earth including the Earth herself.
HEALING THROUGH ORGANIZING AND PROCESSING
Within the first egg resides a symbol of healing. It is a bulldozer that has already knocked down the old house (recall the tower message from last month), and has already created level ground in preparation for the construction of your new house. This image is symbolic of the ground level removal of obstacles, distractions, or avoidance surrounding your new creation (recall the message of the 8 of pentacles from last month). However, for May, the focus lies on the mound of excavated dirt that still remains on site. The pile contains the debris of what we dug up last month that still needs to be processed, sorted in various piles – rocks, old tree roots, & dirt to be re-purposed or removed completely.
So, while our tower moment or release of distractions from last month may not be fully complete, please know that it feels much more optimistic than a collapsing building! We are almost ready to rebuild and finally seeing glimmers of the shifts we have been dreaming of.
AFFECTING CHANGE
In the second, pink, egg there is a symbol of high frequency change. It is a drop of water creating a series of cascading ripples, seemingly insignificant, but in reality, being quite powerful.
A Rumi quote came through immediately: “You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”
The message here is one of deep remembrance and love. Remember the power of your Higher Self, your Spirit, and KNOW that you can affect change for yourself and for the entire collective through your own inner healing, more yet, through your own Being. Connect with yourself, be the true essence of YOU and the ripples of that work will create change for everyone.
NURTURE
Within the 3rd, green egg is a symbol to be nurtured. It is a sweet little baby chick covered in downy feathers, vulnerable, eyes still closed, and needing delicate care to grow strong and healthy. This is the innocent aspect of ourselves, specifically an important gift that has likely remained unnoticed, under valued, or even stifled through childhood. Your gift wants to be seen by you and nurtured with sensitive, loving care.
There is deep emotional longing and great importance towards supporting ourselves in new and healthy ways so our gifts can flow, expand, and flourish.
I gotta tell you, Spirit is so awesome! As I reflected on this, right outside my window, there was a crying baby being consoled by her assumed grandparents! This is the time to console those forgotten or rejected parts of yourself.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
While we continue to clear out what we demolished and dug up last month, we continue with the theme of new growth. Even small decisions can ripple into the future creating change in bigger ways and gifts nurtured will grow and eventually take flight. We are making some really big leaps right now and life may continue to feel quite rapid.
You may notice it’s easier to become ungrounded (resulting in some anxiety or exhaustion), but then afterwards, you will find it’s also much easier to ground more deeply. If overwhelm strikes, remember that you can always take a deeeeeep breath and return to a place of stillness. Reconnect with your breath and slow things down a notch (or ten)!
Remember, these changes are helping us to feel more confidence and trust in our own ability to navigate our lives, BUT also trusting & respecting that those around us have their own inner strength and guidance too. We all get to be the change we want to see in our world. Have a great day and a fertile month of May.
